Golden Beach Creeper

(Ernodea littoralis)

This plant is native to Florida. The red stems help the plant survive droughts. The tubular flowers are pinkish white with 4 curled tops that fold down, appearing year-round followed by small round golden berries that birds like to eat. A tea is made from the leafy branch tips as a home remedy for coughs.
