Baybean

(Canavalia rosea)

Baybean is a very fast growing vine with showy lavender flowers that can bloom in every month. After flowering, large thick green pods form that hold brown beans, when dried. The mature beans are roasted and used to adulterate tea. The leaves have been used to treat rheumatism, boils, skin disorders and other home remedies.
