Friends of Barefoot Beach
"Be a Friend, Buy A Brick" Fundraiser

Here's an opportunity for you to make
a difference in our community. The Friends of
Barefoot Beach Preserve have been making a difference
for over 17 years. We are a non-profit
organization, dedicated to preserving our precious
marine and wetlands environment, and we need YOUR help.
Early in 2008, we began selling bricks like the one
shown above as a fundraiser, in order to allow us to
accomplish some of the goals of our organization.
In early November, the first installation of these
bricks on the east side of the Learning Center was
completed. Many of these bricks were purchased to
honor or commemorate family members or others who care
about the future of Barefoot Beach Preserve, and what it
means to them or future generations of visitors.
It's Not Too Late!
We will be adding more bricks to the walkway surrounding
the Learning Center, as people just like you decide to
donate by purchasing a brick, perhaps in memory of a
loved one, or celebrating the birth of a child who will
someday visit the Preserve themselves. Or what a great
gift for that person who has everything! |
The cost is as
follows: 4' x 8' Bricks - $100
(Small) - 8' x 8' Bricks -
$500 (Medium) - 12" x
12" Bricks - $1000 (Large)

number as a not for profit organization with the Florida Department of Ag and
